The trailer of Bollywood star Aamir Khan’s much-awaited film, Laal Singh Chaddha, was unveiled on Sunday, during the IPL finale. The aforementioned film, a remake of the Hollywood hit Forrest Gump starring Tom Hanks and Robin Wright in the lead, features Aamir as Laal Singh Chaddha and Kareena Kapoor Khan as Vimmy.


The trailer introduces us to the titular character and the world as he sees it. Laal is a differently-abled child raised on a farm by a doting mother who only wants him to live a life as good as anyone else’s. Mona Singh plays Laal’s strong-willed mother and delivers a heartwarming performance that really is the focal point of the three-minute trailer.

The trailer accepts us through Laal's life as he turns into an expert sprinter and afterward proceeds to enlist in the Indian Army, exploring individual strife en route. Incidentally, Laal begins strolling without his leg supports and goes gaga for his cherished, lifelong companion, Vimmy.

In a previous meeting, Aamir shared that the task required over 10 years to be made. The Rangeela entertainer uncovered that one month from now, it will be a long time since the film began shooting. "In June-July, the film will finish 14 years, since we began it. It has been very much an excursion. Initial not many years, we were running behind the freedoms of the film."
